Mikel O.D. - mostpeoplearedjs's Podcast - mostpeoplearedjs's Podcast

Somewhere along the way I think I've lost my aging compass when it comes to music. Friends my age will tell me they don't like new bands because they can no longer relate to them and it isn't relevant to the life they currently lead. For me, music is as much about escapism as it is about wondering weather carries any relevance. I lead a mundane life. I like it that way, but I don't really need a band to remind me of it. What I need is a band that recaptures my youthful spirit by playing music that makes me what to shake off the lethargy that creeps in and settles on me because I've been thinking too much about paying dues and bills. Bands like the Medic Droid and Hyper Crush do that for me.

On this episode I play six tracks, I talk to the bands Medic Droid and Hyper Crush, and review the live show. Have a good Thanksgiving, and if you can come out the Crofoot on Nov.29th for Christmas On Mars!

Boy Crisis - Dressed to Digress (reminds me a bit of Soft Cell)

the Medic Droid - Fer Sure (remix), It's about Love (Get their ep on iTunes!)

Interview with Chris and Hector of Medic Doid

HyperCrush - The Arcade (edit), Sex And Drugs (I like the line about Soda Pop)

Interview with Hypercrush

Chronic Future - Rocket Science

mentions -

HK Army
