Most People Are DJs Video with Milk N Cookies

On a bright sunny day near the end of August a friend and I road tripped across Michigan from Detroit to Grand Rapids for the City Lights Music Festival. CLMF featured over 20 some DJs playing on 3 separate stage areas. I took pictures, interviewed DJs, talked to attendees and had a blast the entire day.

One of the best parts of doing what I do is meeting and talking with people you know have something special in them and I’m capturing it at its rawest time while the greatness to come is percolating. Which is exactly the case with Milk N Cookies, twin brother DJs that cross the spectrum of electronic music and interact seamlessly together. Some twins finish one another’s sentences; they finish one another’s beats. They are also a couple friendly guys that know how to hold down a conversation as well as they handle a beat. We explore topics from their beginnings, what they are currently working on and their crush on Nervo, which is entirely understandable.
