This episode features Jim Smith who as the artist Teeel crafts synth and atmospheric music with 80's influences. This video is taken from a show in October of 2012 when Teeel played Detroit. In the video Teeel talks about where the name from, his love for 80's music and how he performs live. Teeel has two albums out: Amulet and University Heights, he's working a new record which he also talks about at the end of the video. Besides making music as Teeel, Jim also runs Synth Records a terrific label specializing in synthpop. If you want to hear more from Teeel you can hear the entire interview on my new podcast Digital Racket.
